ClearCue Plate-Clear Status Button — Custom Colors
Your farm, your colors. Pick any top and bottom case color and we'll print your ClearCue to order. Same hardware, firmware, and setup as our in-stock ClearCue.
Made to order: ships in 3–5 business days.
ClearCue is a one-button status light that sits next to each printer in your farm. It glows red while the printer is busy or the build plate still needs clearing, and green when the printer is idle and clear. Pull the part, press the button, and the printer is marked ready — no walking to a laptop.
Volume pricing, mix any colors: 3+ for $13.33 each · 5+ for $12.40 each — applied automatically at checkout, and combines with in-stock ClearCues.
How it works
- Plug it in. Set a ClearCue next to each printer and power it from any USB-C port or 5V adapter.
- Set it up from your phone. Join the button's ClearCue setup Wi-Fi, pick your network, then enter your Bambuddy or Watchtower server and API key in the browser. No apps, IDE, or flashing needed.
- Clear and press. Red means busy or the plate needs clearing. Pull the part, press the button, and it turns green: ready for the next job.

Questions
Do I need Bambuddy or Watchtower?
Yes. ClearCue reads printer status from your self-hosted Bambuddy or Watchtower instance, so one needs to be running on your network. You pick which one during setup.
Can I return a custom-color ClearCue?
Custom colors are covered by the same 90-day warranty against defects. Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Can I flash my own firmware?
Yes. ClearCue firmware is GPLv3 and the source is on GitHub. Custom firmware isn't covered by the warranty, but flashing official releases from our site is.
Open source
ClearCue firmware is GPLv3 and fully public: github.com/ThePrintBench/ClearCue. Updates install over the network from the button's settings page, or over USB with the web installer.
